Book Chris!
Chris’s “Use All the Crayons!” talk will scour the frowns off every office sourpuss and leave every one else feeling happy to be human. Equal parts humor, heart and humanity, Chris is the author of 10 books of such dazzling diversity the only things they have in common is each is a star-spangled celebration of the human spirit.
He’s one of America’s most swashbuckling storytellers forever ready to plunder a treasure chest full of tales involving his friendships with hometown buddies Arnold Palmer and Fred Rogers or any of the dozens of Guinness Book of World Record holders he’s known. He’s written thousands of stories about heroes and villains and brings perspectives of every extreme to his every insight.
His is a mindset that insists that even the worst days can be salvaged when we never forget how many happy colors our lives add to the lives of those we love and that together we can all brighten the whole world.

“I’m the kind of guy who watches the local news,” Chris says, “until I see a report of someone dying suddenly and that’s my cue to go out and do something that’ll ensure everyone knows I live suddenly.”
One of America’s most original thinkers, Chris will host colorful living workshops that advise attendees they can banish mental boredom by doing things like telling friends you’re going to open an art gallery.

“Then invite them to a room with nothing on the walls,” he says, “and have them be greeted by 30 guys who say nothing but, ‘Hi! I’m Art!’”
Roofers, librarians, teachers, students, senior care providers, avid golfers and those who care about things like kindness — there is no demographic that hasn’t been cheerfully invigorated by Chris and his joyful message.
Pittsburgh restaurateur Kevin Joyce says: “We’d had a big party the night before Chris spoke and, honestly, I had no intention of going because I thought it sounded stupid. But I went and, boy, am I glad I did. In that one hour, he stirred my every emotion and it was all done with humor and heart. I bought his books for all my friends. It was the best keynote I’ve ever heard. How good was Chris? He cured my hangover!”
Chris differs from all the motivational speakers who contend life will be a breeze if only we all follow the latest trends on diet, style or therapeutic prescription du jour.
“Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! Life is hard. The only way we’re going to get through it is if we armor ourselves with love, laughter and one another.”
